The Project

S2N performed preconstruction services and implemented technology systems at the Fannie Mae headquarters at Midtown Center in Washington, DC.

Midtown Center is a mixed-use development that features 45,000 square feet of retail space, multiple three-story atria, and three levels of below-grade parking, as well as a fitness center, rooftop terrace, and private alley. Midtown Center serves as the primary headquarters for Fannie Mae.

S2N worked closely with the construction team, subcontracting partners, and other IT consultants to provide Fannie Mae with state-of-the-art technology access. Using a fully integrated approach, S2N installed, tested, and commissioned voice and data infrastructure as well as sound masking and electronic security systems including access control and closed-circuit television.

The phased turnover schedule provided Fannie Mae’s IT and Facilities team extra lead time before tenants moved into the new office space.
