S2N is providing consulting and design-assist services on the SDSU KPBS Expansion and Renovation project in San Diego, California.

The KPBS facility is undergoing a two-story expansion which will serve as the new face of the KPBS broadcasting headquarters. The addition will provide a welcoming community space and larger news room along with updates to various spaces such as radio operations, virtual studios, green rooms, patios, a community room, main lobby, and office areas.

During project development, S2N provided design-assist services by reviewing the audio-visual and media broadcast technology plans for robustness. S2N also identified value engineering opportunities as the design progressed.

During construction, S2N is providing technical consulting services for the audio-visual, overhead paging, and media broadcast systems.
